The Skills Portability Initiative aims to open up more opportunities for workers and businesses to fully capture the potential of the European single market. It should simplify mobility. The initiative is split into three actions:
- Facilitating worker mobility across the EU through skills transparency and digitalisation.
- Facilitating, modernising and expanding recognition processes for regulated professions.
- Simplifying the recognition of qualifications and skills of third-country nationals.
