EURAXESS and Europass have teamed up to simplify and streamline your career journey as researcher in Europe. As of December 11th 2025, you can import your Europass profile directly into your EURAXESS account, with just a few clicks.

The import of a Europass profile into your EURAXESS account has several advantages.
- You don’t have to fill out a profile on several platforms, but you can reuse the information already there. This way, you can also avoid the mistake of updating your profile on one platform, but forgetting to do so on the other.
- Europass’s digital tools help you structure your experiences in multiple languages – ideal for researchers working across borders.
- The profile structure has improved. For research organisations, this makes it easier to discover international talent and connect with candidates whose skills are presented in a clear and trusted EU format.
How does it work?
You can connect your Europass profile from your EURAXESS account settings. After logging in, simply select the option to link your Europass profile and follow the on-screen steps. The connection is completely secure, since both EURAXESS and Europass comply with EU data protection standards, including GDPR.
