
The European Commission has announced new calls under the Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Actions (MSCA) in 2025, with a budget of € 1,25 billion. The aim: fund cutting-edge research through excellent doctoral and postdoctoral programmes, collaborative research and innovation projects and research fellowships. Around 10.000 researchers are expected to be funded with an MSCA grant.
Just opened: Postdoctoral fellowship call for € 404,3 million
On the 8th of May 2025, the call for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships opened. With a budget of € 404,3 million, the aim is to improve the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD. The fellowships offer an opportunity to acquire new skills through advanced training and international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility. The fellowships are also a stepping stone in researchers’ careers. They allow them to strengthen research cooperation with leading scientific teams and figures worldwide.
