Supporting mobility and procedures, including entry conditions, social security and taxation
The Community of Practice (CoP) Supporting mobility and procedures is one of the six thematic CoPs established within the scope of project ERA Talent: Platform for career development of researchers in Europa (project: 101103476 – ERA TALENT – HORIZON).
We address issues related to entry and residence conditions (focus 2024/2025) and social security issues (focus 2025).

Our activities
Find out what our activities over the last three years have been.

We have been mapping the migration related hurdles, as well as best practices international researchers face in individual countries. For most countries this is also related to the EU Directive 2016/801.
Expertise was share via a questionnaire and the results have been processed and written up in a report.

In 2025 we have organised several webinars on 'Challenges and good practices on mobility', where we explored national efforts to simplify and facilitate mobility of non-EU researchers. Speakers from several countries presented their obstacles and good practices. Below you will find the topics of the webinars and a link to the recordings.
