Health insurance
During your stay in the Netherlands you must make sure you are adequately insured for your health. What costs can you expect?
- Basic health insurance: € 150 per month
- Supplementary insurance (for example: dental care, alternative therapies, extensive physiotherapy, vision care): approximately € 20 - € 30 per month, depending on coverage.

Health care benefits
You may be eligible for health care benefits, depending on your income (and if applicable, the income of your partner).
- Up to € 131 per month, depending on your income.
- Up to € 250 per month, if you have a partner. The amount also depends on your income(s).
