Be inspired, learn and connect on Valentines Day, in Eindhoven
Are you involved in providing a positive international working environment for international researchers at a research performing organisation? Then you are invited to participate in our seminar on welcoming international research talent. It will be about how to make them love you, or at least like their job and living conditions enough to allow them to excell in their work, and to stay until the end of their project (at least).
Inspiration – Through showcasing good practises from many different universities.
Learning – Through good practises and presentation on policies and topic related research.
Connecting – There will be many colleagues both from the Netherlands and other European countries who you can meet during the many network-breaks during the day. So far over 30 European colleagues from 5 different countries have registered. Some of which will also present their good practises.
The program caries three different themes, laid down in three respective parallel sessions. These themes are:
- Providing support to incoming researchers (both administrative and personal support)
- Spouse support and community building
- Career development services for early stage researchers (phd/post-doc)
Entree fee for participants: €75
(Exempt from the entree fee are speakers and TU/e participants)
Location; Auditorium TU/eindhoven, de Zaale, 5612 AZ, Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
Euraxess The Netherlands and TU/e Eindhoven are happy to invite all participants to an Eat, Meet and Greet event, on the eve of the seminar. The idea is to offer the participants an opportunity to already spend some time together and meet one another, in an informal setting, before the actual seminar. And to learn more about the venue of this pre-seminar event, the Hub Eindhoven for Expats.
We will gladly offer you drinks, snacks and a buffet style dinner.
The event will be on Tuesday, February 13th, 18:00 - 22:00, at the Hub Eindhoven for Expats, address: Vestdijk 25 in Eindhoven.
